Coast advertising technology company Tiltsta wins gold in Paris
SUNSHINE Coast advertising innovator Tiltsta, which has created a way for users to investigate and select products to buy while viewing video, has won a gold award on the world stage at Viva Technology Paris.
On Friday the startup company learned it would be financed to the tune of AUD $150,000 by the third-largest marketing group worldwide, Publicis Groupe.
Tiltsta was one of 15 organisations to beat 3555 other entrants and take home a gold award.
The prize includes one year of mentoring with Publicis Groupe's experts in marketing, communication and digital technology.
The finalist judges represented some of the biggest names in media and marketing including Carolyn Everson, Vice President of Global Marketing Solutions at Facebook.
"At first I simply thought it would be cool to get Tiltsta across the desk of 77,000 top marketing professionals in 108 countries," Tiltsta co-founder Bonny Morlak said.
"Then we were short-listed out of 3500-plus entries. And when the message arrived that we had won a place in the final 90, I almost fainted!" he said.
