Machine intelligence-- artificial intelligence (AI) employed by machines to perform their own tasks, rather than to interact with humans-- is one of the key enabling technologies of the 21st Century. But it has a fundamental problem, that has to be mastered before machine intelligence can reach its full potential: namely, how to understand and control complex dynamical systems using only noise-polluted partial information, without human intervention.
Evolving Machine Intelligence (EMI) owns proprietary mathematical algorithms, expressed as software, that enables this problem to be solved-- more effectively than using neural networks or similar-- for a large number of applications: e.g. in aerospace, robotics, electronics and network analysis.
EMI has formed its first spinoff company: Turbine MachineGenes, to enable machine-intelligent reconstruction of engines.
