BLKTATU is a drone delivery system that allows drones deliver to anyone without the need for a yard.
A few years ago we knew that drone deliveries were going to be a real thing in the not too distant future.
When we saw Amazon and Google attempts at delivery we could tell that it was not complete. How was anyone living in an apartment going to receive drone deliveries? We knew that a solution to complement their systems was going to be needed.
Our system is made up of 2 parts:
1 - The net for catching your deliveries.
2 - The net sensor and delivery caddy.
The net has indicators on it that signify its’ dimensions to the drone. It also guides the delivery in to the lockable container, safe until you arrive to collect it.
The net sensor and delivery caddy reads the sensors on the net and gives the drone the information to move directly above the net. The sensor also reads the barcode on the net to confirm that it is at the correct net.
We are currently looking for funding to begin testing on a small scale. Most likely in a small town outside restricted airspace. We own the patent (in basic terms) for the ability for a drone to drop something in to a receptical.
Some of you may remember us under our old name. We have recently changed our name from Skynet.... It would have been good to keep the name.
